Will you help with our Hypothermia Week, December 20-26?

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Hypothermia Week will be different this year. Instead of hosting the shelter overflow in our Parish Hall, we will be taking meals to them at the Lincolnia Senior Center. We will deliver the food, but are not required to serve or clean up.

We will need meals for 50 people for seven nights and 50 bag lunches for each of the seven days. They have no access to a kitchen, so they request that meals be as simple to serve and eat as possible. I’m thinking of things like stew or chili with some bread and a piece of fruit, or a casserole with salad on the side. I’m sure any simple, hearty meal you wish to provide will be much appreciated.

Plan to deliver the meals to the Lincolnia Senior Center at about 6 p.m.  I will have more details later. If you and your family or a group of friends would like to prepare and deliver a meal or put together 50 bag lunches you may sign up using this link:   If you have any questions email me (Delores Baisden) or call me at 703-533-9532.

Thank you for your generosity!
